i can't wait to say my Au Revoirs and my Shaloms

"It was 1960 and doo-wop was the sound on the street."

"You gotta do what your heart tells you to do. Let me tell you somethin' right now. You're only allowed three great women in your lifetime. They come along like the great fighters, every ten years. Rocky Marciano. Sugar Ray Robinson. Joe Louis. Sometimes you get 'em all at once. Me? I had my three when I was 16. That happens. What are you gonna do? That's the way it goes, you know? Tell you right now. See this girl? Maybe this girl, she put wind in your sails. Maybe she's your first great one." (Sonny)

I loved Chazz Palminteri in this movie, "Sonny" was the name of his character, he was always my favorite i don't know why. Maybe because he had that - I don't give a fuck, i know everyone is looking at me, everyone wants to be me or be apart of my crew, and if you fuck with me, your gonna get shot - kind of attitude. Anyway, great movie. An oldie but a goodie. Go pick it up if you have the time.

New arrivals at Net-a-Porter

Finally something other than Ray-Bans, i'm so sick of them! Enough already! They aren't even a classic anymore, due to all the shitty people who wear them now. Everyone needs a nice pair of vintage frames that aren't way-farers, Oliver Peoples.

This blouse is so classic yet i don't see this style often, it's either a lot of ruffles or something else going on... I love the simplicity of this shirt, and who doesn't love a silk blouse? Stella Mccartney.

This is an all year-round coat, it's so casual with it's balloon-shape, but pretty without being too trendy or fashion-y. I love beige and khaki coats, something about them is so classic and lady-like, Paul & Joe Sister.

Love this coat!

I really love cropped jackets, this jacket is exquisite! The buttons, the cut, the material, everything!

Grace: Thirty Years Of Fashion At Vogue

Edited by and art diirected by Grace Coddington and Michael Roberts. Forewords by Anna Wintour and Karl Lagerfeld.

Grace Coddington's celebration of fashion has danced along its cutting edge for over 30 years. Abandoning a highly lucrative career as a leading model on the 60s London scene, alongside such swinging contemporaries as Jean Shrimpton and Twiggy, Coddington signed on in 1968 as a junior fashion editor at British Vogue. She quickly established herself on the other side of the camera, coordinating photo shoots with David Bailey, Cecil Beaton, Helmut Newton, Sarah Moon, and the eccentric Guy Bourdin. A close working relationship with royal photographer Norman Parkinson produced a series of startlingly vibrant location shoots that have come to be considered classics. At British Vogue, Coddington also introduced the sweeping narrative epic, a familiar feature of her work nowadays at American Vogue, where she has been creative director for the past 14 years. GRACE: Thirty Years of Fashion at Vogue is not only a collection of Coddington's greatest work, it is a visual reminiscence of her life in fashion.
