My latest obsession

Last week i went to pick up a few essentials for my new home and found these amazing 840 count egyptian cotton bed sheets. They are so soft and cozy and look so luxe with the new thick and fluffy duvet i got. I love the way that high-count sheets are shiny like silk. Everyone should have these! I think that your bed is the most important place in your home because sleep is so vital that you should make it as comfy and enjoyable as possible. If you don't already have these then i highly suggest that you pick them up right away!

So i know i just got back from San Francisco, Vancouver, and Seattle, but I'm leaving for asia on saturday so i won't be blogging for the next 2 weeks! Sorry to my viewers, the ones who love me and the one's who love to hate me. Anyway, i'll be on vacation while you suckers will be stuck in calgary... i'm so excited for me! The Rape of Nanking

I just started this book and i have to recommend it to anyone who has an intrest in history. It is very graphic but i think it is something that must be acknowledged since it is not talked about. The rape of nanking is in some ways, worse than the Jewish Holocaust of WW2 but yet it is never mentioned. This is a must read for some of you, and for others... well your missing out.

i don't have cable and i prefer it that way, it sucks the life out of me. Anyway, while working out the other day... this video came on the TV. At first i was like "what is this shit?" and i've never actually bothered to listen to it but i did and that was a huge mistake. First of all, the video is shit. (BRING BACK 90'S JANET VIDS.) And second of all, the words? my god. I didn't even know they were allowed to put that kind of stuff on tv. "Get it up, take it, love it" wtf is going on in this world. This is the most inappropriate, disturbing thing to listen to. What are the little girls who love rihanna suppose to think when they hear this? I am ashamed to live in the era that we live in.

I usually stay away from things with patterns and prints, but i am loving the SS10 Prada Print Collection. I tend to stick to blacks, whites, nudes, and grays... but i would really wear some of these pieces. I love the idea of incorporating one of the printed chain purses with an outfit of all camel or all black with a splash of denim (jacket or jeans)
